PortBlocker DataLocker - block USB ports of devices on the corporate network

Keep control of the USB ports on your network
PortBlocker is a solution that helps in the fight against data loss (Data Loss Prevention). It allows you to define which USB storage devices can be connected to your workstation. With PortBlocker, users send data only to approved, secure and encrypted devices, preventing unauthorized access. PortBlocker is an add-on to SafeConsole, a leading central management solution for secure and encrypted data storage. The software keeps the administrator informed of successful or unsuccessful connection attempts, among other things, through SafeConsole audit logs.
Features of PortBlocker
- Host port control - Manage the whitelisting of USB devices, based on vendor ID (VID), product ID (PID) and serial number, through SafeConsole.
- Quickly enable and disable ports - with SafeConsole, administrators can remotely enable or disable access to all storage devices on the network.
- Activity audits - all events, such as blocking a device, registering a new endpoint, and policy modifications are reported to SafeConsole in audit logs.
- Geofence - devices can be automatically blocked when a workstation is used outside of permitted geographic areas.
How does PortBlocker work?
Always active protection
Once installed by an administrator, PortBlocker will start automatically and run in the background. It cannot be disabled or uninstalled without administrator privileges.
Enforcement of rules
PortBlocker allows you to restrict the connection between USB drives and your workstation, through a whitelist in SafeConsole that works on the basis of VID, PID and serial numbers. If you wish that a computer on your network can only connect to your drive - add a rule in SafeConsole and enjoy security.
Real-time reporting
PortBlocker 's central management via SafeConsole makes it easy to control access and monitor threats.
