The Secure Discovery and Dependency Mapping package from Matrix42 was created to support IT administrators responsible for managing and maintaining critical services, who need to know the actual state of the resources in use and their interrelationships for various reasons. Often, due to their overabundance or understaffing, they are unable to perform inventory, multi-level interrelationship mapping, impact analysis, risk analysis, etc. on their own. With the FireScope SDDM tool, they can create an up-to-date and complete map of the IT environment, create basemaps of individual services, detect in real time every connected device in our infrastructure and identify them, and feed the CMDB database they have. The customer gets the full control needed to guide changes to the digital infrastructure, migrate to the cloud or another Data Center, and adapt it to the changing expectations of business departments. FireScope does not snapshot the IT environment, it deals with continuous observation of connected critical devices, and all observed anomalies are immediately reported to administrators. Implementation of this tool is very simple and, most importantly, does not require granting administrator rights to users of observed devices.

The FireScope suite also includes other tools to support administrators, such as Service Performance Manager (SPM), which conducts continuous monitoring of IT infrastructure and business applications and services to ensure they are running at optimal performance. This makes it easier to assess the ability of your IT solutions to meet business requirements. Monitoring is done in an agentless manner, and the collected data is presented in the form of configurable dashboards and in SLA reports. The SPM solution can be integrated with your CMDB database and IT Service Management system.

The entire package is complemented by the Business Intelligence DataMart (BI DataMart) tool - a SaaS service that converts the collected information about an enterprise's IT resources into reports that are easy to understand and visualize. It thus enables strategic decisions to be made about individual business services, depending on the current situation regarding the IT solutions that manage them. The service helps identify potential security gaps or resources no longer covered by vendor support. Synchronization of collected data with other applications and tools is possible thanks to FireScope Integration Manager - it has ready-to-use connectors for ITSM solutions from vendors such as ServiceNow, BMC and Ivanti, making it significantly easier for partners to conduct deployments and integrate with other solutions. FireScope SDDM is also integrated with Matrix42's own EMS (Enterprise Service Management) solution. It also allows you to create a connector to any ITSM system using Rest API.
