About Stovaris
The history of our company dates back to the 1990s. Since then, the company has evolved from a small service company to a classic value-added distributor (VAD). The company's growth has led to organizational changes that have enabled a greater concentration of the team of specialists and engineers into individual product divisions.
WHERE DO WE COME FROM?
Our company originated from Alstor Sp. j. The company has been operating as a VAD on the Polish market for more than 30 years. Jarosław Kupiec and Tomasz Szukała were among the founders of this company. In 2017, the restructuring of the company began and the Alstor SDS (Secure Data Solutions) business unit was established. This business unit consisted of an independent sales team, a product management team and a service and support team. Alstor SDS focused on storage and server products and solutions, IT network monitoring, data center infrastructure and DCIM, IT security and IT infrastructure management.
On April 1, 2019, Alstor SDS Ltd. started its operations as an independent entity. The founders of the company are: Jarosław Kupiec, Tomasz Szukała and Marcin Cichecki. The entire team and all distribution contracts relevant to Alstor SDS were transferred to the new entity. In the following years, Alstor SDS further developed its portfolio of offered product lines, and in March 2021 Alstor SDS changed its name to Stovaris Sp. z o.o.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
In the Central European market, we see our position as a distributor offering specialized solutions. We do not want to compete with typical broadliners selling popular products on a large scale. Rather, we focus on suppliers and product lines that require a level of technical expertise and active sales. We carefully select the solutions we add to our portfolio. This makes our offerings attractive to our business partners. If we combine this with our years of experience, we can succeed together with our suppliers and trading partners!
OUR TEAM AND SERVICE CAPABILITIES
Our company originated from an IT service company. Currently, we are a team of more than 20 professionals with experience in distribution. The employment structure at Stovaris is: Sales (9) | Product managers (6) | Marketing (1) | Service and technical support (4). We have a service department in our company, consisting of experienced engineers. The crew of this department is engaged in service and installation of Supermicro servers, repair and maintenance of document scanners, tape libraries, Rimage robots for CD/DVD copying. We provide the first line of support for the products and solutions we distribute.
