Under a signed distribution agreement, Stovaris will start selling Canon scanners. As of July this year, the existing product portfolio from the Professional IT for the Office (Document Management System) division is being expanded to include solutions to improve the digitization of documents - Canon brand scanners.
Canon scanner solutions based on years of experience
Canon is undoubtedly one of the largest manufacturers of imaging solutions. Solutions from this supplier are used by individual, business and industrial customers. Stovaris' offer will include document scanners from this globally acclaimed manufacturer.
Canon was founded in 1937 in Japan. As a global provider of digital imaging technology, Canon employs more than 187,000 people. Canon's top engineers and specialists are employed in marketing and production departments in Japan, Asia, America, Europe and Australia and Oceania. The unique technologies that Canon provides in optics, or image processing, contribute not only to advances in document processing, but also in astronomy.
One of the company's three regional headquarters is Canon Europe, founded in 1957 (it employs more than 13,000 people), with headquarters in London and Amstelveen (the Netherlands - the Netherlands). It generates about 25% of Canon's global revenues. Canon Europe handles regional sales and marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Kyosei - Canon sustainability
Canon operates according to a philosophy that can be defined by one Japanese word, "Kyosei." It means "living and working for the common good." This philosophy underpins the company's vision of sustainable development and shapes what the company does, which is to "develop the positive impact of imaging technologies and services."
"After one of the large manufacturers, working with Stovaris, announced in 2020 that it was closing part of its business - the Business Communications Division (among other scanners) - we immediately started looking for a new supplier that would be able to help us fill the gap in the scanner market. The exit from the digitizer business I mentioned above was to take place within two years. During this time we negotiated with several major manufacturers. Finally, we were able to finalize the signing of a distribution agreement with the Canon brand. We believe this is a big step forward, and our customers will continue to have access to the various document digitization products, or scanners, that Stovaris has and will continue to offer."
