Digital X-ray detectors
Digital radiography is a fully digital technique for taking X-ray images. A special DR detector is placed in place of the traditional photographic film or phosphor plate cassette, which reads the image produced by the radiation, which is transmitted directly to a computer.
Place the DR detector behind a body part or other object, which is then X-rayed. These rays form an image of the overexposed object on the detector. This arrangement bypasses the cassette scanning process that occurs in CR systems, resulting in even faster and more accurate X-ray images. Information from the DR detector can be transmitted wirelessly or via a cable. The digital image can then be processed using software.
The LG DXD detector in our range guarantees high resolution and excellent image quality without distortion thanks to 16-bit image processing. In addition, it also offers ideal pixel spacing of 140㎛ for high-resolution images. The high IP * 53 rating ensures that the LG DXD will be protected from dust and spray at any angle up to 60° from the vertical housing, and thanks to its super-strong body that combines carbon fiber with magnesium, the LG DXD is not only lightweight but also extremely strong.
LG DXD boosts productivity with high-speed processing. It takes only 2 seconds for a direct connection to the device's base or 2.5 seconds for a wireless connection to obtain an unprocessed image. Multilayer image processing (MLP) embedded in Acquisition Workstation Software (AWS) provides well-balanced visualization at each frequency level with contrast enhancement processing that improves the visibility of tissue in the image.
Stovaris will not distribute digital X-ray detectors as of October 2024.
