BR-400AN, MESH converter - wired LAN to wireless WLAN
Low-cost and simple wireless WLAN setup.
BR-400AN is a system that allows the user to easily build a wireless WLAN network anywhere there is only a wired LAN. The 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN converter automatically creates a wireless network between devices. It supports the IEEE802.11 standard. With this solution, users can configure a wireless WLAN environment in offices, healthcare or educational institutions, among others, where the Internet of Things (loT) and information and communications technology (ICT) are actively used for data transfer.
Figure 1: Silex BR-400AN
The BR-400AN can transfer data at 130 Mbps, with only 7 ms round-trip latency. It supports IEEE802.1 X authentication for corporate security in office and business networks. It supports industry-leading authentication and encryption standards, including WPA, WPA2 and the most commonly used EAP types.
Mesh technology
BR-400AN supports IEEE802.11, which makes it easy to build a wireless network at a much lower cost compared to the traditional mechanism. Mesh network technology automatically reconfigures the communication route according to the installation environment. The setup time is as little as 1 second, which is ideal for data transmission in both infrastructure and office environments.
Network redundancy and loop detection
BR-400AN supports Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP). AMC Mesh network can suppress the loop network and enables fast convergence. Automatic recovery time of up to 6 seconds when the backbone network (backbone network) is down or unavailable.
By locating bridges where they are needed, it easily helps increase the operating area with backup. It doesn't require an AP, but it does give you the ability to increase your coverage horizontally.

StarWind: a comprehensive virtualization solution
Designed with simplicity in mind, StarWind's solutions give customers more time to grow their business by eliminating cumbersome infrastructure chafing.
The company, which has been in existence since 2003, became a pioneer in storage virtualization with the introduction, two years later, of StarWind Virtual SAN software. Three years later, StarWind was among the manufacturers that first offered hyperconverged solutions to customers. In 2016, StarWind's portfolio also included storage and data backup appliances, which complemented its virtualization offerings and made it henceforth applicable to small and medium-sized businesses and remote offices as well.
Aiming to make its solutions as simple, efficient and flexible as possible, StarWind is successfully expanding in many countries. StarWind's products have already helped create virtual environments for more than 140,000 users using them for free and more than 4,000 paying customers worldwide.
StarWind HCA
The StarWind HCA (Hyper Converged Appliance) was developed for companies that want to eliminate the risk of long downtime of their applications, but have limited financial resources and IT staff. StarWind HCA will "fit" into any budget, as it is a completely software-defined solution that does not require the purchase of expensive hardware. The small size of the IT department is also no obstacle - configuration, integration and data migration will be handled by StarWind engineers, without charging additional fees. In addition, the customer does not need to perform any maintenance, as StarWind's built-in ProActive Support system prevents potential IT infrastructure failures in a timely manner.
StarWind HCA is also an excellent way to avoid costly application downtime. Extremely fault-tolerant, the two-node system can continue to operate normally even if it loses one node and half of the disks in the other node. In addition, StarWind Hybrid Cloud enables failover clustering between local storage and cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
StarWind Virtual SAN
For companies that need high-performance, fault-tolerant storage for virtual machines and applications, StarWind Virtual SAN is the ideal solution. It creates a mirroring, so to speak, of internal hard drives and SSDs between servers, eliminating the need for external replication disk arrays. StarWind Virtual SAN also reduces CAPEX and OPEX expenses because it ensures the use of readily available and popular components.
Hybrid cloud functionality allows virtual machines to move freely between desktop environments and any public cloud without any downtime. Thus, a single solution ensures scalability and high availability of the IT environment and affects the cost of its operation.
What sets StarWind apart?
StarWind has found the perfect balance between solving customers' problems and making sure that partners working with the company benefit as much as possible. End users receive a full set of products tailored to their requirements and enabling them to create an IT infrastructure from scratch. Designed with simplicity in mind, StarWind's solutions give customers more time to grow their business, eliminating cumbersome infrastructure tinkering. That's what StarWind's modus operandi is all about - taking care of the IT infrastructure from the technical side, so that in the meantime customers can pursue their business goals unhindered.
