SURGE PROTECTION
Maintain connection despite voltage fluctuations
Routers used in networks or vehicles can be subject to extreme voltage fluctuations that can disrupt communications or ultimately damage the device.
AirLink Pro routers have built-in +200 VDC overvoltage and load shedding protection, making them immune to severe voltage spikes associated with loose or disconnected battery terminals.
They also have built-in voltage drop protection and can operate even at 5-7 VDC to prevent disconnections when the voltage temporarily drops and ensure continuous operation during voltage drops, such as during startup.
