Advantech 's enhanced router functionality includes self-diagnostics and HW watchdog to ensure secure and consistent operation and reliable wireless connections. With multiple SIM card holders and automatic failover routers, they provide wireless redundancy for critical applications, as well as SMS/e-mail messaging and the ability to control remote alerts and resets. They support the most commonly used LAN/WAN network protocols. The goal is flexibility, efficiency and security for a wide variety of applications. Advantech's router is designed for Wi-FI wireless communication over LTE cellular networks using advanced data communication technologies.
Advantech's routers are based on the ICR-OS (Linux Kernel) operating system, which combines the simplicity of web-based configuration with the flexibility of an open platform that allows the creation of custom configuration scripts and RouterApps (user module software).
