The Everest Encore thermal transfer printer, which allows printing with ribbons directly on the board, provides excellent print quality. On the other hand, the PRISM III monochrome thermal transfer printer, which offers fast and economical printing, is ideal for those who care about production speed.

An innovative feature of the external magazine with a capacity of 50 pieces makes it possible to receive unit discs without opening the device. As a result, up to 150 pieces of one type of printed media can be produced, significantly increasing the efficiency of the production process.

Printing process

The printing process on the Everest Encore printer always requires the use of two ribbons: one with CMY or black colors and the other with a transport ribbon. The thermal head, moving over the base tape (CMY or black), transfers pixels to the transport tape. The fixed thermal head then transfers the image from the transport tape to the optical media. This entire process takes a little less than 60 seconds. Already while the media is being recorded, the print is being prepared, which significantly reduces the time needed to publish the disc. Thermoretransfer printing provides additional protection for the disc from damage and is as durable as the media itself. Most often, damage to the overprint leads to the destruction of the entire carrier.

Printing on PRISM III printer is carried out by thermal transfer monochrome ribbon directly on the plate. This is the fastest printer - after just a few seconds the process is complete.
