SuperMicro - Rack Scale Plug and Play Solutions
SuperMicro introduces Rack Scale Plug and Play solutions, an end-to-end rack-level customer experience dedicated to cloud, AI and 5G/Edge.
Designing at the rack level lowers the final price for the customer, and Rack Scale Plug and Play will allow quick and economical installation of solutions. Rack-level integrated servers will consist of Supermicro products and third-party components.
There is currently an increase in demand for cloud-based data centers with the best possible performance and great TCO, which at the same time can be available as commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions. Sub-data center solutions require a combination of multiple products and technologies, including servers, storage, networking and the required software (including software validation for specific customer needs) to deliver a final solution with the best possible quality, performance and security. SuperMicro will offer an end-to-end solution, designed and tested for specific workloads. Each solution will be proposed by SuperMicro's global team of data center experts. The offerings will include state-of-the-art options that provide the highest performance and operate at a lower cost and lower environmental impact (SuperMicro's "We Keep IT Green®" program).

The solutions will consist of optimized servers and storage systems for Cloud, AI, 5G/Edge and Enterprise workloads. SuperMicro wants to provide its customers with turnkey rack solutions, perfectly sized for their needs, even faster. Rack solutions will be fully tested and get thermal acceptance, either through conventional cooling or, for more demanding customers, liquid cooling. SuperMicro rack-level servers will be assembled, tested (SMC's internal L11 and L12 test procedures) and checked against benchmarks.
