GS series from Infortrend - ideal for media and entertainment industry

Infortrend has long offered an advanced shared storage solution for the media and entertainment market, processing high-quality footage at 4K and higher resolutions using editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. The EonStor GS family of unified arrays meets the needs of small workgroups and post-production studios, with ten workstations running simultaneously on a single, shared storage. The GS is a highly available solution for the media and entertainment market. It supports configurations with 2 controllers in an active/redundant configuration, allowing switching to a redundant controller if the active controller fails. This eliminates system downtime for critical projects. The GS series for media/entertainment consists of 3U for 16 drives, 4U for 24 drives and 4U for 60 drives solutions. It offers a variety of flexible connectivity options for servers/workstations, with a stable, reliable modular design that allows expansion to large capacities and increased server connectivity.
Easy management with specialized tools
EonOne - EonOne is a web-based storage management tool developed specifically for the Eonstor GS series. Infortrend offers 2 types of user permissions for different management options. The first type of permission is for the administrator in charge of storage allocations for users and their accounts. To help administrators easily configure storage and networking, a configuration wizard is available that allows users to complete system configuration in 5 minutes and start the entire system in 30 minutes. The system administrator also has access to advanced configuration of the entire storage system, data access services and its periodic maintenance.
EonView - EonView is a tool that uses a client for Windows and macOS workstations. Workstations with the GS EonView client installed are able to automatically detect GS systems on the network, and the network shares assigned for each editor will be automatically connected. This significantly reduces the complexity of implementing the storage system and network settings, and thus allows users to focus on creating and editing video. In the event of a critical event, all clients are notified, so the problem can be resolved quickly, ensuring work without major downtime.
Integration with DaVinci Resolve Project Server - The DaVinci Resolve database is pre-installed on the GS system allowing joint video editing by multiple clients. The centralized management of the database on the EonStor GS system not only enables backup, restore and upgrade of the DaVinci Resolve database but also allows for data RAID protection and controller redundancy creating a high availability solution.
