The EonStor GS is available in three types, depending on the drives supported - U.2 NVMe SSD, 3.5-inch SAS HDD and 2.5-inch SAS SSD. Whether you need a solution with exceptional performance or one that meets high capacity requirements, EonStor GS has it all.
EonStor GSe
EonStor GSe from Infortrend comes with a single controller, so you can enjoy enterprise-class features at an affordable price. On the hardware side, it provides a variety of sizes, flexible host board selection, modular and reliable design, and high scalability. As for software, EonStor GSe offers complete data services and an easy-to-use management interface.
EonStor GSe is suitable for typical SMB-level applications such as databases, virtualization, media and entertainment, surveillance, file sharing and backup.

U.2 NVMe flash storage
The GS and GSe U.2 series feature a U.2 NVMe SSD that delivers ultra-high performance with low latency, compared to SAS/SATA SSDs. EonStor GS/GSe includes high-performance and cost-effective models to support a variety of applications.

EonStor GS/GSe 4000U
Unified U.2 NVMe SSD storage with ultra-high performance.
The EonStor GS 4000U supports 100GbE RDMA and PCIe 4.0, and guarantees up to 1100K IOPS. The GS series provides 24/12 GB/s throughput for demanding applications. The GSe series, on the other hand, guarantees up to 12 GB/s read and 9 GB/s write. The GS and GSe provide full data protection to secure digital assets and can be scaled up to 4 units to linearly increase performance and capacity.
EonStor GS/GSe 3000UT
High-performance, unified all-flash U.2 NVMe SSD storage.
The EonStor GS/GSe 3000UT supports 100GbE RDMA and PCIe 4.0. The GS series guarantees up to 950,000 IOPS and 24/10 GB/s throughput for high-performance applications. The EonStor GSe 3000UT, on the other hand, provides high performance for demanding small and medium business applications. Both GS/GSe series provide full data protection to secure digital assets and can be scaled up to 4 GS units for linear increases in performance and capacity.
For demanding tasks
These models offer up to 1100K IOPS (GS series) or 600K IOPS (GSe series).
The read throughput for GS is 24 GB/s and write throughput is 12 GB/s (12/9 for GSe, respectively). They are ideal for applications such as databases, HPC and M&E (media and entertainment).
100GbE RDMA
The GS 4000U provides up to 12 GB/s (9 GB/s for the GSe series) throughput via a single port with 100GbE RDMA support, making it the best choice for HPC and 4K/8K post-production.
4th generation PCIe drives
Support for a 4th-generation PCIe SSD main drive, which offers twice the bandwidth of 3rd-generation PCIe, significantly increases storage performance.

The 3000U uses U.2 NVMe SSD and U.2 NVMe SSD, delivering high performance with low latency at a competitive price. The series offers complete data protection features, SSD optimization technology and scalable expansion that can linearly increase performance and capacity.
EonStor GS/GSe 2000U
Unified entry-level U.2 NVMe SSD storage.
2000U is an entry-level all-flash SAN/NAS storage solution with U.2 NVMe SSD. It offers complete data protection features and SSD optimization technology. With horizontal scaling, you can linearly increase performance and capacity as your data grows.
For loads requiring high capacity
Supports high-capacity U.2 NVMe SSDs and can support up to 896 drives via JBOD. Together with scalable expansion, the storage solution can provide a capacity of more than 50 PB.
Hybrid memory
Store current data on an SSD and "cold" data (less frequently used or historical) on an auto-leveling hard drive to enjoy both high performance and high capacity while minimizing costs.
Data compression
Use inline compression to reduce data size in real time and offline deduplication to remove duplicate data. Compression saves up to 66% of storage space.
