Unified storage - Infortrend 4U 90 EonStor GS drives

Infortrend is unveiling a unified GS 4U 90-disk storage solution and 4U 90-disk JBOD that offer a reduction in total cost of ownership through high density, high capacity and minimal space occupancy. In a 4U 90-disk chassis, they provide up to 1.8PB of storage, and when combined with a 4U 90-disk JBOD, storage capacity doubles to 3.6PB, occupying only 8U of rack space. In total, the solution can be scaled up and down to more than 70PB of storage capacity.

Compared to the existing 60-disk model, the 90-disk model offers 50% more space, bringing the total capacity to 1.8 PB.

Using four U.2 NVMe SSDs as cache can significantly increase performance by speeding up data access and transfer speeds.

Meeting the requirements of the fastest storage network

GS's high-density unified storage solution includes 4U models with 40/60/90 disk slots. A huge advantage is support for the 100GbE standard, making it ideal for applications operating in 100GbE network environments.
