Scale Computing - Integration of storage, servers and virtualization software

Scale Computing integrates storage, servers and virtualization software, in a single scalable and easy-to-manage appliance. The solution uses standard components and can be installed in less than an hour. It can also be upgraded and expanded without causing downtime. High availability ensures operation in the event of failure of servers or any of their components, and unified, Web-based management allows remote management of up to a hundred locations.
A unique component of the Scale Computing solution is the patented HyperCore software. It is pre-installed on each HC3 node, ready to run right out of the box, tuned for each type of HC3 node, without the need for additional licenses or installation of additional software. HyperCore continuously monitors all VMs, software and hardware components to detect and automatically respond to common infrastructure events, maintain application availability and simplify management of the Data Center.

The architecture of the Scale Computing HC3 and HyperCore solution is designed to deliver high availability storage services while maintaining operational simplicity through highly intelligent programmatic automation and simplified architecture. HyperCore adds intelligence and automation to the software layer. It is designed to take advantage of standard, easily replaceable hardware components, including the virtualization capabilities of today's processor architectures. By creating a single unified and redundant cluster system of all these components, a flexible and complete "data center in a box" solution was achieved, which acts as a redundant "private cloud." Additional nodes are automatically attached to the cluster, and components that may fail or have already failed are easily replaced without causing interruption of service.
