Vertiv™ VRC Rack Air Conditioning is an easy-to-deploy solution that provides efficient and trouble-free air conditioning for IT equipment. The product is dedicated to small network and Edge systems. Vertiv VRC air conditioning can cool at up to 3,500 watts, and the integrated heat removal system allows for easier air management.

The idea of the network edge is to maximize performance with as little space as possible in which to place IT devices. With limited space, sufficient protection of critical devices becomes a major challenge - until now, server cooling has either been too large or too inefficient for the Edge. The Vertiv VRC's compact 3,500-watt model is a compromise that provides the necessary performance, low deployment cost and space savings.

Vertiv VRC was created for use in 19-inch EIA cabinets. The cooling can be integrated into both open and closed cabinets. The components of this unit have an adjustable speed that makes the solution adapt to cooling needs in real time.

Ease of implementation

Engineers will appreciate that the Vertiv VRC is simple to install. The system directs warm air into ducts facing the ceiling, where it can be supported by the building's general cooling. The units are filled with refrigerant during manufacture and come with an installation kit. All this shortens the implementation process to a minimum.

Professionals can check the automatic operation of the Vertiv VRC on the device's screen and connect to the device via SNMP card and Modbus RTU. Lowering the cooling level below the defined values will alert the technicians controlling the server rooms immediately.
