Combined advantages - Benefits of modularity and reliability

Each power module contains all the components required for double-conversion operation. In addition, there is one centralized static bypass for each power supply, dedicated to the full target power of the UPS unit. This unit topology allows the unit to combine the benefits of modularity - flexibility, availability and scalability - with the reliability of a centralized static bypass.

Electrical safety

The UPS unit operates at high voltages, which means there is a constant risk that a power surge or power outage could damage equipment, affect business continuity, or even pose a serious risk to personnel. The Eaton 93PM G2, like all of Eaton's high-end 3-phase UPS units, includes pre-engineered, tested and installed components to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operation. This is more secure and cost-effective than installing additional external protection, which typically saves more than €1,000 on a reverse current protection system and €500 on external static bypass fuses.
