Calibrite

Calibrite, a manufacturer of color calibrators and standards, is a group of investors, passionate photographers and filmmakers - worlds closely connected to the industry. In this new entity, the reliability of X-Rite 's existing solutions is combined with the experience of passionate professionals who have been working with color for decades. For more than 20 years, X-Rite has been at the forefront of the color management solutions market. It has developed many products, including color standards and calibration devices, among others. As investor interest emerged, an opportunity arose to create a company dedicated exclusively to the color calibrators and color standards market. An agreement was quickly reached with X-Rite, resulting in the transfer of their existing business in this sector to a new entity called Calibrite.

What does Calibrite offer?

The company's overarching goal is and will continue to be to provide the best solutions for photographers, filmmakers, designers and creative content creators who love color and require the best tools for work where color is critical. All Calibrite products will carry a very familiar name: ColorChecker. There is also a continued partnership with X-Rite, which will provide customer-trusted solutions.

Calibrite wants to leverage access to core technologies from X-Rite, which will continue to manufacture devices at its Munsell lab. Calibrite's role, meanwhile, is to design new solutions through an extensive research and development program. In the near term, it is expected to refine and prepare new products including: monitor, scanner, printer, camera and projector profiling. Calibrite will work with X-Rite 's color scientists to develop solutions that will evolve with available imaging and printing technologies.
