NetBrain

NetBrain's business covers every aspect of a hybrid network, from the edge (Edge Computing) to the cloud (Public Cloud), and the vendor's solution improves performance and enables greater scalability. The product fits in with Stovaris' offerings; the PDAS software works well with NetAlly's network meters and testers, complements Ivanti's ITSM solutions, and integrates with industrial network monitoring functions from Paessler, which allows for proactive work on network malfunctions and predicting link capacity and network traffic patterns.

Today, more than 2,500 of the world's largest enterprises and service providers use NetBrain solutions to simplify their network management operations. The company's best showcase is that in 2022, Gartner again featured NetBrain in its Cool Vendors in Network Automation report. In that report, the auditor states that NetBrain is a good choice for "Organizations of all sizes that want to provide up-to-date resource analysis, simplify troubleshooting, and automatically check network configurations to confirm that they are consistent with the original intent. In short, NetBrain simplifies network operations."

History of NetBrain

Established in 2004, NetBrain Automation is now the most widely used automation platform for network visibility(Network Visibility). The solution offers a new approach to hybrid network management, based on maintaining business preferences (instead of managing hundreds of device configurations), which is appreciated by operators of all sizes. NetBrain is headquartered in the US (Massachusetts), with most of its employees in the US, Canada, Germany and the UK.

NetBrain platform

The vendor's offering includes NetBrain PDAS (Problem Diagnosis Automation System) software, built on patented network automation technology based on the intent and need for fault-free network connectivity, performance and security.
The Problem Diagnosis Automation System (PDAS) now in its fourth generation is the industry's only intelligent automation and visibility platform. While competing solutions force users to interact with and oversee every network device, NetBrain describes and manages a preset set of network design assumptions. Tight and full integration with major ITSM systems (e.g., Ivanti Neurons) automates and accelerates the resolution of more than 90% of all network service requests and prevents more than 50% of all network issues before they affect our network operations.
